Dry lubrification

Injection kerosene value for aircraft and helicopters

The exceptional coefficient of friction of fluorinated resins takes place each time we have mechanical parts in friction. Several types of coatings can be used according to their properties:

  • Excellent adhesion to metal, steel, aluminium alloys, ceramics, cast iron and even some plastics
  • Precision of the coating necessary for mechanical adjustments. Thickness of 3µ +/-1µ may be obtained or 12µ +/-2µ. To avoid any gap male & female parts may be adjusted by recoating (injection kerosene value for aircraft and helicopters)
  • When heavy loaded, fluorinated resins give a coefficient of friction as low as 0.02. We prevent metal to metal sticking and stick slip when rubber seals rub against metallic shafts, a lot of application for taps, valves and fittings.
  • Generally we coat only one part. When two are rubbing, the male. The counter part must have very thin roughness, precision, hardness. The part to be coated must be stabilized depending of the temperature of curing of the selected coating.
